Dear Rocky; We appreciate your post response, and like you, we have also found, after years of hard study, that the pre-trib rapture doctrine taught from many evangelical churches is false teaching. In our opinion, the pre-trib rapture doctrine is the most significant anti-Semitic teaching the church has ever embraced. In Jeremiah 31 the New Covenant was prophesied by God to be given to both houses of Israel.
A complete understanding why the pre-trib rapture of the church is false teaching can only be understood when the true identities of the 2 houses of Israel are unraveled in Scripture. Both houses of Israel were dispersed into the world thousands of years ago because of their disobedience. The Northern 10 Tribes left the teaching of the Torah, and co-mingled with other peoples and religions (large portion of the evangelical church today) and the Southern 2 Tribes (Judah) remained true to the Torah (Jews in Israel/globally today).
The Old Testament scriptures are clear that in the end times, both houses of Israel (Christian Church and Jews) will be re-united together before the 2nd coming of Christ. Ezekiel 37:16 addresses this re-uniting in great detail.
There are only 2 comings of Jesus Christ. His first coming was his birth, ministry and death on the cross. His second coming will happen at the last trumpet blast after the 2 houses of Israel have been re-united.
The evangelical church once taught that God had forgotten Israel and the Jews and had replaced them with the Church. After 1948 when Israel became a nation again (prophesied in Old Testament Scripture and by Jesus Himself) much to the surprise of many church pastors the replacement theology teaching lost its credibility. It's time that the pre-trib rapture of the church also lose its credibility. Understanding the 2 houses of Israel and who the New Covenant was actually given to will destroy this heresy once and for all.
