The relationship between Iran and the West hasn't been in good terms for the past several decades and with recent events things seem to have gotten a little rockier. Both sides have made questionable threats, all of which have pushed the two countries closer to war. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta has declared that Iran has abandoned all plans to develop nuclear weapons, but conflicting reports have surfaced in the mainstream media.
